About the School

 Sindhi Seva Samiti has extended its dream and vision of providing quality education at an affordable price for all round personality development by starting its school at Hebbal.

The school started on 9th June 2003 with a record strength of 1165 pupil. It is now teeming with 1800 students and has 3 sections from Nursery to XII. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education Board (CBSE).

It was formally inaugurated by the then Deputy Prime Minister, Sri L.K. Advani on 10th September 2003 in the presence of the then Chief minister of Karnataka; Sri S.M. Krishna and other dignitaries.

The school is housed in an aesthetically designed building; its ambience, the landscaping and thematic classrooms make education a joyful experience. It is situated in a campus of 2.5 acres

1. Tantra Inter-School Activity:

  • The social science fest was conducted on 31-08-2008 and 01-09-2008

  • 17 Schools had participated.

  • The theme of the fest was "Evolution of Man".

  • The winners were: Group B- SHS, Hebbal.

2. Inter-School Basket Ball Tournament: The 2nd Inter-School Basket Ball Tournament for boys and girls under 14 was held in the month of January 2009. The Sindhians reached the finals in both the categories.

Maiden Inter-School activities.

We have hosted 2 interschool events:

1. "Tantra" the Science Fest.

2. Basket Ball tournament for boys and girls under 14.

1. Horlicks Whizz kids: The second place in Anthakshari was won by SHS, Hebbal. The third prize in pencil sketching was won by SHS, Hebbal.

2. All Mighties Academy had conducted various competitions. The students of SHS, Hebbal won the first place in painting, story writing, and essay writing competition. Also the second prize for recitation, handwriting and story writing was won by our students.

3. Adarsha Education Complex: Our students won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in fancy dress competition.

1. Participated in the Balajagat Program of AIR. It was broadcasted on 13-11-05 & 19-11-05.

2. Kathalaya conducted an exciting story telling session with Chitrakathas, scrolls, pictures, and stick puppets as a prelude to Bangalore Habba.

1. All India Inter School football match.

2. Pratibha Dance Competition.

3. English Essay writing competition.

4. Inter-School competition held at HAL School.

5. Participated in Horlicks activities and Inter-School Quiz Competition Held by Top Ramen

Students participated in the Inter-School activities and won prizes in "shloka", "fancy dress", "dance", "pencil sketching", "painting", "essay writing", "hair-styling", "creative writing", and "pottery competition".
