The Sindhi Group of Institutions is sponsored by the Sindhi Seva Samiti, a registered association set up and managed by a group of about 375 enlightened Sindhi businessmen of Bangalore. Their forefathers hailed from the province of SIND. The diasporic effect of the partition has had its worst effect on the Sindhi community and presently there is no state of their own, despite their age-old origin which dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization.

The Samiti is into philosophical, social and cultural causes, serving the society in areas of education, poor family relief, eye donation and health services. Deserving and needy students get free ships regardless of caste, creed or religion. It provides a match making forum with a data base for prospective brides and grooms. The Samiti plans to adopt backward schools to provide quality education to the deprived section.

Every mission that a Sindhi undertakes, spells SUCCESS. This has been amply proved by the soaring popularity of the Sindhi High School and the Sindhi College which are the main prestigious educational projects of the Sindhi Seva Samiti. The current strength of “SINDHIANS” is around 4500.

The educational institutions represent the missionary zeal of the Sindhi Seva Samiti to expand quality and quantity of enlightened Sindhians. Our institutions stand for:

  • The desire of the Sindhi community to integrate with the rest of the society.
  • The determination to be an asset to the nation.
  • The belief that amongst all wealth, education is the most supreme.
  • The conviction that the opportunity for providing this wealth is a blessing that surpasses whatever benefits, material riches can provide.

We aim not merely at helping the students to acquire a degree but also at flagging them off on a fruitful and satisfying career.
