ECA – Celebration of Special Days.

 

14.09.06  : Hindi Diwas Cultural and literacy activities highlighting the importance of Hindi
16.09.06 : Ozone Day Teachers spoke on Global Warming and hazards of the Ozone Hole
20.09.06 : Grand Parents Day A rare and special occasion where in the children entertained the Grand parents. Games were arranged. The grand parents shared their experiences.
14.11.06 : Children’s Day  Picnics for the preprimary sections. The movie “Lago Raho Munna Bhai” was screened for others.
28.02.07 : Science DayScience Quiz, Lecture contest, poster designing, pick and speak & Guest Lecture by Dr. Guru Prasad from ISRO
05.06.07 : Environment DayA Radio programme was performed by students of class XI bringing an awareness of preserving the environment.
21.06.07 : Music DayCelebrated with a Power point Presentation on famous musicians. The junior students played different instruments. The students & Teachers sang in the assembly.

CELEBRATIONS:

1. Environment Day: is celebrated on World Environment Day with students being given a general awareness on the environment and the means to protect it.
2. Music day : World Music Day includes a Musical Recital.
  
3. Hindi diwas is celebrated every year through group songs, skits and recitation.
4. Independence Day: The flag is hoisted in the school by the school Chairman. A skit written and enacted by pupils, a tableau depicting incidents of the freedom struggle, along with a patriotic songs were a part of the program.

 

5. Janmashtami: is celebrated in accordance with the traditional pot breaking ceremony and the little ones dressed as Krishnas and Radhas.
6. Physics Week: it includes a week of Project Exhibitions, Quiz " Scientists Look Aloke" contest.
  
7. Teachers Day: is celebrated with lot of Love and fervour as teachers are entertained with songs and skits by the students.
8. Kannada Rajyothsava : it showcase the literary forms in Kannada through role play, light music, skits to name a few.
