THEATRE IN EDUCATION
Students have responded very
enthusiastically to TIE this year. In Std. IV, they were taught to understand others’ creativity and express their creative thoughts. They made mind maps about each other and had a quiz based on this. They learned how to form a story by connecting objects and pictures. They did reference books, and grasped the distinction between fact, fiction, opinion and activity.

They made mind maps about each other and had a quiz based on this. They learned how to form a story by connecting objects and pictures. They did reference books, and grasped the distinction between fact, fiction, opinion and activity. A vocabulary game, with words beginning with different letters of the alphabet, was challenging and fun!
In Std. V, students understood the theory and practice of Drama. They learned about movement and voice, and how to reach the audience. The grand finale was a humorous performance of MAD ADS by various groups. Every students has had a chance to perform for every topic covered. All in all, a fun year for T.I.E.!
